Persons interested should contact the Voter Registration and Elections office by calling 843-423-8268. Your name will be added to our database.
When a position becomes available, you will be notified by either a Commissioner or Office staff.
Qualifications
In order to be a poll manager or clerk, YOU MUST:

When a position becomes available, you will be notified by either a Commissioner or Office staff.
Qualifications
In order to be a poll manager or clerk, YOU MUST:
- Be a registered voter in the state of South Carolina; OR be aged 16 or 17.
- Attend a Poll Manager Training Class before EACH election.
- Be willing and able to work the ENTIRE Election Day, from approximately 6:15AM until approximately 8:00PM.
- Not be related to or work for any candidate on the ballot in your assigned precinct.
