The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, in serving the citizens of Marion County, South Carolina, shall strive to provide quality law enforcement, detention, court security, and civil services to the citizens of Marion County, by treating others with dignity and respect while reducing crime and providing for a safe community.  In so doing, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office shall serve all individuals with fairness and compassion and provide assistance at every opportunity. 

We are committed to the protection of life and property through the vigorous enforcement of local, county, state, and federal laws within the framework of the United States Constitution in a fair and impartial manner.  Our community service commitment will strive to enhance the quality of life and to bridge the public trust by enacting and adhering to high professional  and ethical standards. 

We will dedicate ourselves to developing partnerships with businesses, residents, and service organizations to help deter crime and promote safety.
