What will be picked up at roadside pickup?

Household trash. Recylables are to be taken to the recycling centers and yard waste can only be recycled by way of backyard compositing.

What can be recycled at the recycling centers?

Aluminum, appliances/scrap metal, cardboard, food cans, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and jars, newspapers, oil, oil filters, electronics, and tires.

Where are the recycling centers?

The Palmetto Hardwood Recycling Center on Senator Gasque Road in Marion, the Britton's Neck Recycling Center on Highway 41 in Britton's Neck, and the Marion County Landfill on Red Bluff Ct. off Old Stage Road in Mullins.

What are the hours of the recycling centers?

The Palmetto Hardwood Center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00-5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm excluding 12:00 to 1:00 pm for lunch. The Marion County Landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

What form of payment do you take?

We take cash, check, and money order. Currently we do not have the capabilities to use credit, debit, or bank withdrawal.

How much is the service?

Per month the service costs $15.75 and if you have two carts, $24.50. We have avaliable a discount for those who pay a year in advance. Paying for 12 current months of $189.00 will give you a 13th month for free.

My cart is broken or missing, what can I do?

Simply let us know and we’ll provide a replacement. Even if it was broken or taken during trash pick up we will not be notified. You may let us know by visiting our office at 2523 East Hwy 76 in Marion or by calling us at 843-423-8234. 

I am behind in payments, what can I do to assure continued trash pickup and what programs are available to help me catch up the balance?

Speak with in person or by phone any of our staff in our office and we’ll explain our Non-Termination Agreement with you.  This Agreement assures both that you will continue having our service, and that we will receive the necessary payment for that service.
