 Karen Collins is the Administrative Lieutenant for the Detention Center.  Karen began her career with the Marion County Detention Center in 2014.  Collins became the Administrative Lieutenant in January of 2016.  Collins oversees all administrative duties with the Detention Center including the Commissary, Inmate Phone System, Visitation, Victim Rights Services provided by the Detention Center, and Inmate Restrictions.  Collins is also responsible for Lobby Security, Lobby Security Officer, and Guest Services.

Chris Woodberry is the Day Operations and Security Lieutenant at the Detention Center.  Lt. Woodberry began his career in 2003 with the Marion County Detention Center as a corrections officer and with 17 years experience through his hard work and dedication was promoted to Lieutenant in 2010.  Lt. Woodberry oversees Operations & Security at the facility and his primary duties include Transportation, Inmate Court Appearances, Sentenced Inmates, Inmate Supplies, Food Services, Inspections, and both day shifts.   Lt. Woodberry takes extreme pride in his work and considers his number one goal the safekeeping of those entrusted to his care.



Gerald1Lieutenant Shenelle Gerald

Shenelle Gerald is the Night Operations and Security Lieutenant at the Detention Center.  Lt. Gerald began her career at the Marion County Detention Center in 2014  as a corrections officer and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2015.  Lt. Gerald  received her BS in Business Administration from Coker College in 2006.  Lt. Gerald oversees Operations  & Security at the the Detention Center and her primary duties include Expungements, LiveScan Fingerprint Submission, DNA Collection and Submission, PREA, and both night shifts.  Lt. Gerald also works for the Marion County School District as a Business Education Teacher.
