HAPPY EASTER VETERANS
The Marion County Veterans Affairs Office assists former members of the United States Armed Forces and their families in filing a claim for benefits for which they may be entitled. These claims include compensation & pension benefits, VA healthcare enrollment, VA home loans, Life and Mortgage insurance, and burial benefits. We also network with agencies throughout the community to aid the veteran/widow in obtaining additional assistance.

Is medical assistance available?
Possibly. It depends on family income and net worth, length of active duty service and/or if condition is rated service-connected by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Eligibility for benefits varies but is mainly based on active duty service (other than for training only) length and/or period of service, character of discharge, degree of disability, and countable annual household income.
